SUMMER SCHEDULE

Our regular classes run through Thursday, June 19th, but some summer classes will be held on the following Mondays:  July 14th, July 28th, August 4thth, and August 18th.  All classes are held at the Ballybay and the cost is $10 per class, pay each class.  There will be a $2 late fee added if payments are not received the day you attend class.  Times are as follows:

                                                12:00 – 1:00 pm BEGINNERS

                                                  1:00 – 2:00 pm ADVANCED BEGINNERS

                                                  2:00 – 3:00 pm NOVICE

                                                  3:00 – 4:30 pm OPEN/PRIZEWINNER

                                                  4:30 – 6:30 pm PRELIM./CHAMPIONS

SUMMER FEIS DATES

For all those who have caught the “feising bug” and want to do more, check out these locations close to home:  Rochester- July 12th, Albany- July 19th, Lockport –August 9th, Southern Tier- August 16th, and Thousand Island- Sept. 21st.  Most importantly, the Johnston School is in charge of putting on the Syracuse Feis, September 20th and we need your help!  At least 1 parent from each family will be required to work at least 2 hours the day before or the day of the Feis.  The committee will be contacting everyone in the near future. 

SUMMER PERFORMANCES

There will be shows scheduled throughout the summer that we will need dancers for.  The Scottish Games will be held Sat., August 9th.  We will have at least 2 days scheduled to dance at the Fair and we will also be participating in the daily parades they have on the days that we dance there.  There will be sign-up sheets posted at the Ballybay during summer classes or you can e-mail Patty to get on the list.  It is necessary to have the names ahead of time in order to get the tickets needed.  Thanks so much!

CLASSES WILL RESUME STARTING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND; EACH DANCER WILL RECEIVE A HANDOUT WITH THEIR CLASS ASSIGNMENTS FOR NEXT FALL SOMETIME OVER THE NEXT 2 WEEKS.  Thanks for a great year and enjoy the summer!  Ann & Patty J
